X3 Tactical Mount Installation

What’s in the X3 Tactical Mount box?

• 2 x Frame mount clips
• 2 x Allen Screws
• 1 x Rubber Frame Protector
• 1 x X3 Tactical Mount Body (includes Lock Body Clip Feature)

Tactical Mount Installation Instructions

Tools Needed:

• 5mm Allen key
• Scissors

Preparation

1. Ensure your bike frame has a smooth and clean surface before installation.
2. Choose your desired mounting location (top tube or seat tube) and check there is enough clearance for both the mount and the lock.

Installing the LITELOK X3 in the Tactical Mount

1. Position the LITELOK X3 with the X3 logo on the mount facing away from you.
2. Insert the top arm of the lock shackle into the gap on the side with the X3 logo.
3. Once the shackle is inserted a quarter of the way, lock the body to the shackle and remove the keys.
4. Twist the lock until it clicks securely into place.

Fitting the Tactical Mount to your Bike Frame

1. Ensure the body of the lock faces the rear of your bike frame.
2. Place the rubber frame protector on top of the mount.
3. Insert the frame mount clips through the holes on each side, ensuring that the rubber frame protector and frame mount clips fit snugly together. If there’s a gap, the protective strip may be on the wrong side.
4. Remove the rubber frame protector, measure it against the bike frame, and trim it to fit, ensuring the frame is protected.
5. Slide the O-rings out of the way to make installation easier.
6. Thread the frame mount clips through the holes and pull them so that they are hand tight. For optimal fit, tighten the straps slightly on each side, ensuring the Tactical mount is level before fully tightening.
7. Tuck the ends of the frame mount clips into the O-rings.
8. Insert the 5mm screws into the gaps on the mount and tighten them with the Allen key.
9. Place the LITELOK X3 inside the mount, and you're ready to go!
